LeidenHer Instagram couldn't capture the quality of her product and she was drowning in questions regarding ordering every day. We reorganised her entire product catalogue, edited every photo, and simplified her offer so customers could self-serve instead of texting her all day. The website was the last part, not the first. The enquiries that come through now? Ready-to-buy customers!

ABOUT ME

I am a cook, a cleaner, a nanny, a daycare director, a tutor, a volunteer in approximately 10,004 clubs, and apparently now I build websites. I stepped away from work (yes I was a writer, a really boring kind of writer - grantwriter) a few years ago to focus on my family. Watching my friends build their own businesses inspired me to start building too. I also write when I feel like it.
WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO DO MORE OF:
I started this because my friend needed a website badly. She'd been paying for a Shopify account for months without doing anything with it. So I went down the AI rabbit hole and started building with zero experience.
The thing about AI: it's fast and relentless and genuinely useful, and it takes a specific kind of patience most business owners don't have time for. You could build it yourself on Wix or Squarespace, plenty of people do. But if you'd rather not, I build something custom to your brand, not a template, and at a price that isn't an agency retainer.
The other thing about AI: it's generic. You build enough sites and they start looking like each other. Doesn't matter how many times you prompt "make it look like..." or paste in a reference site, similar layouts, same tone, same nothing. And maybe that's ok. The part that actually makes a site yours is the copy. The voice. That's what I focus on. So I also offer copywriting (isn't copywriting dead?) that doesn't sound like AI wrote it, or at least sounds like someone who actually listened to you did.

Sharks
Am I a cat or dog person? I'm a shark person. Every species. Most misunderstood creature on the planet and I will die on this hill. Yes my wedding was shark themed.
Vietnamese food
Pho, bun bowls, banh mi, bun rieu. If I had to pick one cuisine to eat for the rest of my life. Vietnamese food hands down.
Board games
Settlers of Catan has ended friendships and I respect it for that. These days I play mostly with my kids!
Sunscreen
My mom instilled in me a deep, lifelong reverence for sunscreen. It stuck. I genuinely believe the best skincare starts and ends with SPF. nicesunscreen.com was available — but meansunscreen sounded more fun. I'm not mean, I just think a good sunscreen should be.
